A Night on the Mountain

Sarah Lee spent a night alone, lost, on one of the most isolated and wildest parts of the United Kingdom,
Brecon Beacons in Wales. We talked to her about her experience.
Sarah, could you tell us (1) ___ on Brecon Beacons?

around three o’clock in the afternoon and the weather was fine, but at around five o’clock the weather started

I lost Flossie. Flossie is my dog, and she just disappeared. I spent some time looking for her, but I (7) ___ her
anywhere. While I was looking for her, I also got lost in the rain and mist. It was very difficult to see anything.
It got dark quite quickly. Then I fell over a small (8) ___ and seriously (9) ___ my ankle. I couldn’t call anyone

Yes, I had told my family I was going for a jog on the mountains, so I knew it would only be a matter of time
before they came looking for me.
So, how did you survive the night?

very worried, I just thought the whole thing was (16) ___, and very inconvenient. I couldn’t believe how stupid I

And in the morning, what happened?
