Blue Coat Virtual Class Room Training

BlueTouch Training Services is offering convenient virtual classroom training through state-of-the-art remote labs
led by an instructor in support of the primary instructional tracks of Blue Coat’s course offerings: WAN Optimization,
Secure Web Gateway, Visibility and Control, and Troubleshooting.
Students can now connect securely from their office or home to Blue Coat’s virtual classroom training (VCT) offerings
through several remote labs in North America, Asia and Europe. Each remote lab is fully equipped with an extensive
array of Blue Coat appliances, including ProxySG and PacketShaper, as well as other hardware and software products
providing you with ample access to all the Blue Coat products and technologies relevant to your training.

Cost-Effective and Flexible

Blue Coat uses real-time desktop sharing technology, in combination with teleconferencing, to deliver effective virtual
classroom training (VCT). Students in different geographical locations can attend the same training session without the
need to travel to a physical classroom.
Professional training is more valuable than ever, especially in today’s budget-conscious environment. VCT provides a
higher return on investment for a company’s training budget by allowing technical staff to attend classes without incurring
travel related expenses. Additionally, VCT offers the same level of content quality and instructional effectiveness as a
traditional instructor-led classroom training (ILT) session. VCT sessions also typically start at 9:00 a.m. in the assigned
city/geographical region to coincide with local business hours and last four hours per class session, allowing students to
continue to perform critical job functions during the day before or after attending the training session(s).

Global Availability
Blue Coat instructors utilize the VCT infrastructure to deliver many courses, including custom designed courses at
locations around the world, with instruction delivery available in a variety of European and Asian languages and a training
schedule tailored to the local region/time zone and business hours. Students will gain extensive hands-on experience
through virtual training lab capabilities even though the physical lab is located remotely.

-> PC with Windows XP/Vista (recommended) or MAC operating system
-> High speed internet access
-> Access to webconferencing (WebEx) and teleconferencing (phone)
