USE WE USE PRESENT PERFECT TO TALK
ABOUT:
The past when the time is not specific
All your experiences up to now
Note that we can´t use a time with the present perfect
We use never in sentences with present perfect to say
that you have not had a particular experience at any
time in the past.
we use ever in questions with the present perfect to
find out if something has happened at any time in the
past.
PAST PARTICIPLES
We form the past participle of regular verbs in the same way
as the past simle, by adding - ed to the base form:
walk - walked
visit - visited

the past participle or irregular verbs has a special form,

sometimes the same as the past simple, sometimes different.
write - wRITTEN
heard - heard
PRESENT PERFECT VS PAST SIMPLE
WE USE THE PRESENT PERFECT TO TALK ABOUT THE PAST IN GENERAL,
WITHOUT GIVING DETAILS:
sHE HAS WON LOTS OF COMPETITIONS.
WE USE THE PAST SIMPLE TO GIVE OTHER DETAILS OR TO SAY WHEN SOMETHING
HAPPENED:
sHE WON HER FIRST COMPETITION IN 1985.
WHEN WE ASK QUESTIONS IN THE PAST, WE USE THE PRESENT PERFECT TO
ESTABLISH THE FACTS:
hOW MANY MOUNTAINS HAS SHE CLIMBED?
WE USE THE PAST SIMPLE TO ASK FOR THE SPECIFIC TIME OF AN EVENT, OR
FOR EXTRA INFORMATION:
WHEN DID SHE CLIMB THE EVEREST?
