¤Why God made Man in His own image& after His likeness

Script.(Gen.1:26-27,2:7)
Beloved,in view of the scripture above that happened because of so much love which He has
for mankind above other creatures else.That's to say,it's an act of expression of His love for
mankind;He took time to make then in His own image and after His likeness.Simply put,God
made them to be like Him for the purpose of intimate relationship on earth(Gen.3:8).
However,to buttress such an amazing expression of love,He also had to crown them with glory
and honour.Then in addition made them a little lower than His angels in heaven, and at
peak,gave them dominion over all other thing else,includingSatan and all his powers on
earth(Ps.8:4-6,Lk.10:19). What an amazing love, beloved! That God made us and also gave us
the dominion to be like Him on earth. I tell you the truth,God so much love us-He so much love
you too(Jn.10:15,15:13)! So just connect to know Him through the salvation in ChristJesus and
then enjoy the love.
Therefore,beloved,here underlies the reason why the enemy(devil) out of envy and jealousy of
such God's love accorded to humanity on earth is full of wrath to destroy such glory and honous
upon them, and then strip them of the dominion which God had given them over
him(Satan).Although he succeeded in doing that right from the beginning in the case of Adam
and Eve in the Garden of Eden(Gen.3).
But the goodnews is that God did not undermind such a love He has for mankind,yet He had to
send Jesus to recover such dominion and glory from Satan,and then restored them back to
mankind on earth(Jn.3:16,Rev.5:9,Lk.10:19);hence the need to repent and be converted for the
forgiveness of our sins by believing and surrendering ourlives to Jesus as our Lord and personal
saviour(Acts3:19)-simply that's to say,to regain the lost dominion,glory and honour,we must be
genuinely bornagain(Jn.3:3-6).
Generally,what God then requires of us,even right from the beginning of creation,as we
witnessed in the Garden of Eden, is good and intimate relationship with us through fear of God
and total obedience to all His commandments(Eccle.12:11);the very kind of relationship where
we hear His voice(Gen.3:8).And that's made easy through our faith and total dependent in
Christ Jesus(Jn.15:5). I pray,the glory of God upon your life shall find full expression in your
generation,inthe name of Jesus.

Pray this:Oh God,arise and give me the gracf to always appreciate and guard the
dominion(power),glory and honour which you had put upon my life all the days of mylife,in the
name of Jesus.

¤Deliverance
-the Children's Bread
Script.(Mt.15:22-28)
Beloved,deliverance of which healing is an integral part of is considered as the children's bread
by the LORD,when He met with a woman who called upon Him to have mercy on her daughter
that was grievously tormented with a devil,as recorded in the scriptures quoted above.
The truth is that He had covenanted himself by promise to be their healer(Exo.15:26b) and
deliverer(Ps.34:19,107:20) in all situations of life.This is because He's able,and with Him all
things are possible(Lk.1:37).That's to say in essence,He ministers to all the needs of His
children who trust in Him.And there's absolutely no human problem that He cannot proffer
solution to resolve per time in life.As the Almighty God He answers(attends to) all
prayers(requests) presented to Him by men on earth.
However,by His children here we mean those who obey and do His will on earth(Exo.15:26a)-
quite those the scripture refers to as the righteous.Otherwise the unclean spirit cast out could
find its way into the life again; after been cast out(Mt.12:43-44). I pray,wherever you need
deliverance(healing),as you call upm the LORD He shall deliver and heal you,in the name of
Jesus.

Therefore,the fact is,that's the purpose of His coming to this earth;He came to set humanity
free,especially those who believe in Hin(Jesus)from the bondages of sin and Satan.
The bottomline is that the LORD always minister deliverance and healing to His children through
the preaching or teaching of the word of God as they stand in the scriptures eachtime they
gather in worship unto God ;hence the reason why it's considered as the children's bread-
deliverance.
Pray this:Oh God,arise and deliver me wherever I need deliverance,and heal me wherever I
need healing,in the name of Jesus.

¤Blessing and Curse

Script.(Deut.28:1-2,15)
Here,beloved,there is a fact which we should acknowledgeand allow to register in our innermost
being;so that it could always enable us to make good decisions on certain steps to take or
certain things to and things we should not do in the issues of life.And that's as captioned in the
above topic,the issue of Blessing and curse.
Then the truth is,everythingdone or got or achieved per time based on sinful act is nothing but a
curse,no matter how good such things seem to appear before men on earth.Often a curse is
scripturally referred to as death(Deut.30:19).
This is because it kills good things wherever it finds itself.
So,the issue is that everything got and established based on lies,deceit,cheating,fraud,sexual
sins (like fornication,prostitution or adultery),embezzlement,occultism or evil consultation or
sacrifice is a curse no matter the good things in which they are put to use. God is not
mocked,whatever a man soweth,the same shall he also reap(Gal.6:7). God neither builds upon
a faulty foundation,nor blesses it. Whether we believe it or not,the word of God is the law and
power that made and upholds all things both in heaven and on earth(Heb.1:3,Jn.1:3).

However,the abovementioned fact uncovers the secret why many good

establishments(businesses,companies or organisations) do not outlive their founder or owners
as soon as they are dead.Simply put,it's because the source of fund or otherwise upon which
they were established is sinful(evil,satanic or demonic).
Generally,such establishments are cursed and mere weapons in the hands of the enemy. They
do not last,but have destructive generational effects on people,one's children and family
line(Deut.28:15). No wonder, sin and Satan are the author of curse.
I pray,beloved,curse shall not be your lot and that of your family,in the name of Jesus.
On the other hand,beloved,everything done,got or achieved based on acts of righteousness is
indeed a blessing.Often,blessing is scripturally referred to as life(Deut.30:19).And every
establishment based on such a blessing is always a weapon in the hands of God.They last,and
also have generational positive effects on people,one's children and family line(Deut.28:1-2).
In summary,beloved,we should endeavour to avoid all forms of action based on sin and Satan
that lead to a curse,and then focus only on acts based on righteousness and God that lead to a
blessing.
At peak,we should succintly assert that,every thing about God and emanates from Him is a
blessing,whereas everything about Satan and emanates from him is a curse.
And that's to say,acts of sin attract curses, while acts of righteousness attract blessings.

Therefore,God is the epitome and author of blessing,while Satan is the epitome and author of
curse. So, choose God(righteousness) and blessing and reject Satan(sin) and
curse(Deut.30:19).
I pray,may God give you the grace to always avoid Satan and sin capable of attracting curses
into your life and family line,in the name of Jesus.

Pray this:i.Oh God, arise and put your Spirit within me,and cause me to walk in your ways the
rest of mylife,in the name of Jesus.
ii. Oh God,bless and make me an agent of blessing to the people in my generation,inthe name
of Jesus.

¤Understanding the Functions of the Holy Spirit

Script.(Jn.14:26)
Beloved,the Holy Spirit interchangeably referred to as the Spirit of God,Spirit of
Christ(Gal.4:6),Grace of God(Titus2:11-12),Spirit of truth(Jn.14:17) or Holy Ghost,has various
functions of which He, as a personality,performs in relationship with the believers in Christ
Jesus on earth;the category according to the scriptures refer to as the heirs of
salvation(Heb.1:14).
So, He's the promise of God the Father through Jesus the Son made and sent to the heirs of
salvation only(Acts1:4,Jn.14:16-18,16:7)-those who obey God(Acts 5:32);hence the need to be
genuinely born again to enjoy His functions listed below:

1.As the comforter,He motivates and encourages us on the things of God-our best companion
on earth(Jn.14:16).
2.As a teacher,He teaches us all things(Jn.14:26,Titus2:11-12).
3. As the reminder,He brings all things whatsoever we've been taught concerning God and
otherwise to our remembrance(Jn.14:26).
4.He puts the love of God in our hearts,and also sustains it(Rom.5:5).
5.He offers us divine direction;leads us on the right ways to go in life(Rom.8:14,Isa.30:21).
6.He empowers us to witness for Jesus and live for God on earth
(Acts1:8);simply put,He's the power of God at work in us(Eph.3:20).
7.He testifies of Jesus,and also glorifies Him through us on earth(Jn.15:26,16:14).
8. As the Spirit of truth,He guides us into all the truth in life(Jn.16:13).
9. He shows us the things to come(Jn.16:13);that's to say,He's the personality or Spirit behind
every true revelation,vision or trance(1Cor.2:10,Acts10:1-19).
10. He gives and sustains the righteousness,peace and joy in our hearts(Rom.14:17,Ps.51:11-
12).
11.He abides or lives or dwells in us,and also speak through and to us(Jn.14:16-
17,1Cor.3:16,Rom.8:16,Acts10:19).
12. He strengthens the area of our weakennesses(Rom.8:26,Zecha.4:6,Ps.29:11b).
13. He makes intercessions for us according to the will of God(Rom.8:27);often through
speaking in tongues.
14. He fights our battles(Isa.59:19,Zecha.4:6).
15. He's the personality behind every performance of miracles,signs and wonders through the
believers on earth(Acts10:38,1Cor.2:4),of which purpose is to glorify Jesus(Jn.16:14).
16. He's the Spirit behind our salvation in Christ Jesus;saves and seals us as God's own
heir(property or children)(Eph.1:13,4:30,1Cor.6:19-20,Gal.4:6-7).
17.He enables us to know the things which God had freely given to us on earth(1Cor.2:12)e.g
your wife or husband,divine helpers,calling and spiritual gifts,etc.
18. He fills us with the fruits of righteousness-goodworks(Philip.1:11,Eph.2:10,Eph.5:9,Gal.5:22-
23).
19. He guarantees our liberty in Christ Jesus and transformation from a level of glory to a higher
level of glory in life(2Cor.3:17-18), especially when we abide with Him in the very area wherein
He had called each and everyone of us in life(1Cor.7:17,24).
20. He separates and commissions us into our individual ministry on earth(Acts13:2,4).
21. He helps or enables us to live a holy and righteous life-to live above sin(Rom.8:10,13).
22.He's the personality behind godly wisdom,knowledge,understanding,might,counsel and fear
of God at work in men(Isa.11:1-2); and many more.
So in summary,just as we earlier mentioned, to have the Holy Spirit abides in us and also enjoy
His functions mentioned above,first of all we need to be genuinely born again(Jn.3:3-6),obey
God and consistently walk in His ways(do His will(Acts 5:32,Jn.14:15-16,Prov.25:12).

I pray,beloved,may the LORD put His Holy Spirit within you and cause you to enjoy His
functions all the days of your life,in the name of Jesus.
Pray this:Holy Spirit of the living God,arise and make your functions clearly known in my life,in
the name of Jesus.

¤Understanding Angelic Functions

Script.(Heb.1:13-14,Ps.103:20-21).
As a matter of fact to begin with,beloved,the angels of God are servants of God,and also act as
ministering spirits to the believers in Christ Jesus,scripturally referred to as the heirs of
salvation(Heb.1:13-14).
So that's their compound function that entails as follows:
A.They are after the will of God-to do His good pleasure.That's to say,they hearken to the voice
or word of God to fulfill it to the letter per time(Ps.103:20-21).
B. They excel in strength over those of the enemy(Ps.103:20-21).
C. They minister to the needs of the children of God on earth(1Kings19:5-7).
D. Act as guardians to God's children on earth(Ps.91:11-12).
E.They guide and lead God's people in the pursuit and fulfillment of their individual calling and
ministry in life(Acts 8:26,29,Mt.1:24).
F. They carry the presence of God(Isa.63:9).
G. Convey God's word or message to men(Exo.3:2,Lk.1:11-17,26-28).

Generally,thebottom line is that,as ministering spirits,they are both servants to God and His
children on earth.
So,to enagage and put them to work for you,you need to be part of the heirs of
salvation(Heb.1:14)-sheepfold.And simply that's to say,you need to be genuinely born
again(Jn.3:3-6). No wonder,the scripture says as regards that thus,Repent and be
converted,that the time of refreshing shall come in the presence of the LORD(Acts 3:19).
Beloved,that's where the angels of God are usually found(stationed)-in the presence of the
LORD;hence the reason why they are scripturally referred to as the angels of His(God's)
presence(Isa.63:9).

Therefore,the angels of God are always at the feet(encamp arround) the children(born again
believers in Christ Jesus) simply because they carry the presence of God-the Spirit of God is
upon them(Eph.1:13,4:30).
I pray,may the angels of God assigned to you make their presence clearly known to you through
their abovementioned functions in the pursuit and fulfillment of your calling and ministry,in the
name of Jesus.
Pray this: Thou angels of the living God, arise and begin to do what to do for what God had
assigned you to do,in the name of Jesus.

¤Calming the Storms of Life

Script.(Lk.8:22-25).
To begin with,beloved,as a matter of fact no-one is exempted from the storms of
life(Job14:1).And by it we mean simply the challenges or problems or troubles of life. Certainly
they shall come.
However,the main important thing is to be conversant with the wisdom,knowledge and
understanding which the scripture has provided to calm and conquer them as they come to
confront us on our way per time.So some of the ways are as follows:
A.First make prayer of enquiry(Jerem.33:3,1Sam.30:8);ask God to show you the secret behind
the problem and the way out.
And here whatever He asks you to do,just do it accordingly-take action(Jn.2:5).
For instance,we could see that in the case of Joshua when they could not withstand the small
city of Ai in battle.It was a challenge to Joshua indeed.But when he made an enquiry from the
LORD,He revealed that harboured an accursed thing in their midst that brought the storm,and
he was instructed m what to do.As a result,he did so and had victory over the city of
Ai(Joshua7&8).

B.Engage the prayer of faith exercised in the name of Jesus,and speak authoritatively or rebuke
the storm and bind the evil personality behind it, just as Jesus instructed His disciples to have
done when they were confronted with a storm on the lake while on the ship. I pray,as you
exercise your faith in the name of Jesus and speak to your problem,it shall obey you,in the
name of Jesus.

C.Call upon the LORD to arrest or intervene or calm the situation;for it's written,As many that
shall call upon the name of the LORD,shall be saved(delivered)(Acts2:21).That's exactly what
the disciples did when they were confronted with the storm.Just do the same thing in faith,and
LORD would answer and save you.

Beloved,that's it. And at this point,some one might ask,Is it just as simple as that? Yes,that's the
truth of the word of God. But the answer to such prayers could either come
suddenly(immediately) or tarry(take time to manifest);hence the need to be consistent in prayer
with faith and patience until your answer comes(Lk.18:7-8,1Thess.5:17,Heb.6:12).
Thank God for the prayer of His servants we often subject ourselves to,but it's God that
determines when the answers to prayers would come,not His servants(Ps.65:2). I pray,the
LORD shall give you the grace to confront and overcome every storm of life put on your way per
time,in the name of Jesus.

Pray this:
i.By the Spirit of God I bind every evil personality behind the problem brought into my life,in the
name of Jesus.
ii. You the storm(problem) troubling my life and family, I bind and rebuke you in the name of
Jesus.
