1) Removethe umbrellafrom the box, cut the shrinkwrap open and countthe componentpieces
first.Thereare:
A) 1 top cross base(A)
B) 1 bottomcrossbase (B)
C) 1 lowercenterpost (C)
D) 1 umbrellatop (D)
E) 1 accessorybag whichconsistsof I bolts(Ea),8 metalwashers(Eb), t hex wrench(Ec)
and 1 assemblyinstructions sheet(Ed).

2) Placebottomcrossbase (B) (withgap openingup) on even

surface.Inserttop cross base(A) (withcenteropeningdown) i-

on top of the bottomcrossbase (B) and form the two at 90'

angle.Placelowercenterpost(C) on top of the crossbase
(A&B). Insert a bolt (Ea) through a metal washer (Eb),
throughthe plateof the lowercenterpost (C), and intothe
cross base for each hole. Tightenall boltswith hex wrench
(Ec).

3) Place heavy objecton top of the assembledbase beforeinstallingthe umbrella(D), so the

umbrellawill not toppleduringthe assemblyprocess.Holdthe umbrellatop upsidedown and
shakegently,allowingthe ribsto fall naturallyintothe openposition.

4) Insertthe umbrellapole (D) into the lower centerpost (C) untilthe pins set into the notchesof
centerpost (C).Thereare four differentadjustmentsto set the horizontalreachesof the umbrella
arm.Slidethe collarup and downon the umbrellatop to the desiredarmreach,insertthe pin into
the hole for the collarto rest on. Securethe umbrellatop to the base pole by turningthe secure
knobon the lowercenterpost(C).Slowlycrankthe handleuntilthe cordslackis takenup.
