Sales Finance Supervisor, March 1, 2019 - Present

 Serves as Head of Sales Office Finance for Panay Island (Iloilo and Kalibo Sales Offices).
 Takes charge of the people development of 6 Finance professionals (CPAs).
 Ensure the timely and accurate submission of reports and analyses by SO Finance personnel
relating to Sales, Remittances, Inventory, Expenses, and various other reports and
documents relating to Treasury, Tax, and Sales (e.g. Key Performance Indicators.)
 Ensure high awareness of SO personnel on financial controls and on relevant PMI Practice
& Principles. Coordinate closely –together with the Area Sales Finance Manager -- with
Internal Controls, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Tax, and Financial Reporting through the
Area Sales Finance Manager on the implementation of policies, trainings, and as well as
actions relating to controls findings.
 Collaborate closely with SO Managers and other key SO Sales personnel to provide timely
finance and decision support including SO budget monitoring and early resolution of SO
finance concerns. This includes effective cascades of relevant Finance procedures and
initiatives. Ensure positive collaboration across all levels of SO Finance personnel with
Sales personnel, as well as overall alignment with Sales objectives and initiatives.
 Provide timely and accurate inputs or propose solutions to Area Sales Finance Manager on
ongoing initiatives, areas of concern, and potential areas of improvement in the Sales Area
of responsibility.
 Ensure an overall plan is in place -- in coordination with Area Sales Finance Manager,
Finance Management, and HR -- to address recruitment, movements, development, and
coaching needs of all SO Finance personnel and that this plan is executed properly.
Develop the SO Finance team to ensure bench strength and consistent performance with
PMI competencies.

Budget and Reporting Analyst, October 1, 2017 – February 28, 2019

 Regularly presents a macro view of the region’s weekly/monthly performance results to the
Regional Management Team through consolidating and analyzing various Sales Office level
reports such as AR report, Budget report, Audit report, Employee performance report, etc.,
 Conducts spot audit to all covered sales offices of the Region (total of 10 sales offices) to
ensure that they are all compliant in terms of established company policies and SOX
requirements. Spot audit activities include testing the accuracy and compliance level of
randomly selected sales office official documents, performing surprise inventory count and
AR trade validation, Sales office process review, etc.
 Ensures that various existing processes/policies (Reporting, Controls, etc.,) of the region are
still serving their intended objectives through conducting regular process assessments and
reviews. Regular process assessment and review includes implementing series of process
improvements which aim to streamline the existing process and save cost through cutting
down man hour involved.
 Monitors the overall budget of the region (Estimated annual budget of $1.2M for 17 covered
cost centers) and ensure proper spending through regular alignment meetings with
stakeholders /cost center owners. Alignment meetings include reviewing the current
spending of the cost centers and identify potential areas for cost savings and ultimately
reallocating those savings to other regional programs that will promote the company’s
performance through increased sales, product visibility in the market, consumer
engagement, etc.
 Stands as coordinator/representative of the region during alignment meetings and ad hoc
requests from the Head Office.

Sales Finance Officer, March 16, 2016 – September 30, 2017

 Streamlined the current process of the Sales Office in terms of posting DSARs (Daily Sales
and Accountability Report). This includes correcting processes that are redundant by nature.
As a result, Dumaguete Sales Office was recognized as one of the Sales Offices that was
able to meet the on time posting of DSARs for the year 2016 and 2017.
 Enhanced the existing Internal Controls of the Sales Offices over various company assets
such as Accounts Receivable, Cash, Inventory, etc. As a result, fraudulent transactions were
identified and penalties were given to Van Salesman accordingly.
 Improved the performance of the SO in terms of AR Management through on time
submission of reports and analysis, calling the attention of any possible risk towards AR
Management such as bad debts, AR with operational issues, and unauthorized customer
deduction to its pending AR. As a result, Dumaguete Sales Office consistently reached the
90% AR Currency for the year 2016 and 2017.
 Managed properly the budget of the Sales Office through establishing reliable cost
assumptions from which the budget was based. As a result, the Sales Office was able to
generate Php300-Php400k worth of savings that were forwarded to the Region’s pot budget
that were used for other Sales Programs to improve the company’s visibility in the trade.
