What is Razer up to? Razer Opus Review.

Introduction
So, everybody recognizes Razer because of their gaming mice, RGB lighting,
keyboards, laptops etc. but now they are entering the market and competition of
lifestyle Audio. This headset was meant to go against Bose, Sennheiser, and Sony
headsets. Here in this article, you will find a complete review of the new Razer
Opus headset.
Design n Physical Appearance
The Opus has ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) technology which lets you
experience high quality sound with zero distractions no matter where you are.
Except for the name ‘Razer’ there is nothing on this headset that looks like that it
belongs from Razer.
It does not even come in green color, only in midnight blue or black color. The
design is pretty good, designed for long hours of wear. It has leather cushions and a
light weight and a very good a reasonable clamping force.
Buttons
The headsets are also fine to be worn with glasses. On the right-side cup, there
many easy volume and sound control buttons. And on the left side is the Power
button, 3.5mm port, and a USB C for charging.
Forget the Noise
The slogan about this headset ‘Forget the noise’ completely fits here 100%. This
means with 50% volume and ANC enabled, you would even hear your fingers
snapping. The three important letters on the side ‘THX’ which means that you
won’t get bad audio. The 40mm drivers are not meant to have distortion at high
volumes and are supposed to sound neutral and balanced.
What you get in the box?
The wiring that you get with this is a Type C charging cable, a headphone cable for
wired listening and an airplane adapter, a very decent carrying pouch, and in the
last obviously the headset itself.
Battery Life
It takes 4 hours to completely charge this thing from 0%-100%. With ANC
enabled, you get 25 hours of life. If you disable Noise cancellation, you get an
extra hour of life.

Disadvantages
The disadvantage of this is that you can’t exactly tell how much battery is left even
in the app. In the app it just shows up like a bar without any precise percentage
written. And the light color on the headset is only green (battery is full) or red
(battery is low).
But if you have connected this on Android it actually shows the battery percentage
in Bluetooth settings whereas on iOS it doesn’t. Plus, you can’t tell whether you
have enabled ANC as there is no light on the headset to indicate that.
Microphone
Another thing is that its microphone is not that good. When you are talking in a
silent room on the phone, it feels as if your voice is coming from far away. So,
when your outside, your voice may not be heard to the person.
Conclusion
So, in the end, the Opus is good for its design and sound. And it is kind of bad at
the app functions, indicators and its mic. So, this headset is available for a 199$

incorporates something from Blue Voice. And that it is really a happy thing to see
that Logitech has incorporated in order to improve that microphone. Is Logitech
trying to make themselves better?
