WHAT: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is building a foundation of hope from the ground up by
hosting a floor signing party on Monday, Month XX, for the [City] St. Jude Dream Home®
Giveaway.

The floor signing party will gather sponsors, city leaders and community members who
contributed to the building and furnishing of the [City] St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house
together to write messages of hope and encouragement on the house’s foundation before the
flooring is installed.

WHY: The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway has become one of the largest single-event fundraisers for
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital nationwide. This is the 30 th anniversary of the national
program and the Xth house to be built in this market.

To date, more than 540 houses have been awarded, and the program has raised more than
$455 million for St. Jude. Because a majority of St. Jude funding comes from individual
contributors through programs like this, St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters
most – saving kids regardless of their financial situation.
