Q.1 DEFINE ENTREPRENEUR ? AND EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENT

TYPES OF ENTREPRENERUR ?
ANS: Entrepreneurs are found in every economic system and in every of economic activity as
well as in other social and cultural activities. They are found amongst labourers, bankers,
professionals and also amongst farmers, fishermen and tribals . we find entrepreneurs even
amongst philosophers and bureaucrats.
\Clarence Danhof carried out a study on American agriculture and on the basis of his study
classified entrepreneurs into four categories, Viz. innovative entrepreneurs, initiative
entrepreneur, Fabien entrepreneur and drone entrepreneur. The other classification are based on
technology, economic activity and market economy.

DEFINITION:
One who creates a new business in the face of risk and uncertainty for the purpose of achieving
profit and growth by identifying opportunities and assembling the necessary resources to
capitalize on them.
