The moral dilemma, in this case, is whether Ashton should bribe the local government

officials or whether she should not bribe them. The conflicting values, in this case, is whether
Ashton will take a risk on her reputation or break her promise to her manager. Ashton would
have to choose between failing her first assignment or getting caught and put in prison, and her
company could have to pay a million dollars, which is the conflicting burden in her case. While
the conflicting benefits of her case are, if she bribed the local government, she would
successfully build their headquarters, but if she chose not to bribe, she could maintain her
integrity. Lastly, she would have to choose which responsibility she would take. Whether it is her
responsibility as an employee, which is to do everything possible not to fail the project, or her
moral responsibility, which is to do what is right and just.
