5.2 Warming up
It is necessary to warm up the machine after it has been stopped for hours, especially over
night. Please ensure to let the machine running free for at least 30-45 minutes before you
do accurate cutting.
5.2.1 Warming up
Load free operation more than 30 minutes (longer in the winter)
Check spindle rotation and orientation function
Check tool change function
Check lubrication and coolant device function
Make sure all these are working properly.

parameters
(Set P20 and P21 as zero, you can change the obstruction position in 666 sub
program without restarting CNC)
3, Define new bar Z axis obstruction “machine coordinate” into P23 of PLC
parameter,( this parameter is special for when you want to machining face of new
bar, if is not necessary, please set it same as P21
(While you don’t use P20 and P21 setting, please define new bar obstruction
position in 666 sub program, too)
4, Install first bar by bar feeder manual mode,
5, Execute M90 to start bar feeder
When bar feeder end of bar signal active, you can see a message “ END OF
BAR “ appear on upon left of screen, when you execute same M code ( M90 ), X
axis will go to “ zero machine coordinate “, then bar feeder will eject remaining
bar, then X and Z axes go to new bar obstruction position, then bar feeder feed a
new bar automatic

12. Before you execute M59(probe), please make sure you finish workpiece calibration, that’s
mean these tool offsets need something inside

CAUSE : SPINDLE INVERTER OVERLOAD
SOLUTION :1. CHECK INVERTER ALARM MESSAGE,REFERENCE INVERTER TRIPS
AND COUNTERMEASURES.
2. RESET INVERTER ALARM MESSAGE, PRESS CNC ESC KEY CLEAR
MESSAGE.
4 (DOOR OPEN)
CAUSE : WITHIN AUTOMATIC EXECUTION,DOOR BE OPENED.
SOLUTION :1. CLOSE DOOR,PRESS CNC ESC KEY CLEAR MESSAGE.
2. MOVE AXES TO SAFETY POSITION, RESTART PROGRAM.

CAUSE : THE CNC USES THESE SIGNALS WHEN COMMUNICATING WITH THE
DRIVE VIA SERCOS AND THEY INDICATE THE DRIVE STATUS.
SOLUTION : IF CNC NOT HAVE ANY OTHERS ERROR, CHECK THE MAIN POWER
FUSE AND DRIVER ERROR MESSAGE
6 (DOOR OPEN)
CAUSE : WITHIN MANUAL MODE, DOOR LOCK IS OPENED.AXES FEEDRATE KEEP
BELOW 2 M/MIN; SPINDLE CAN’T BE ROTATED; PROGRAM CAN’T BE
EXECUTED.
SOLUTION : CLOSE DOOR.

15 (ZERO FEEDRATE)
CAUSE : CNC PANEL FEED OVERRIDE IN 0% POSITION, AXES DIDNT MOVE.
SOLUTION : CHANGE OVERRIDE POSITION.
16 (1 STEP-> ENTER)
CAUSE : SPINDLE SPEED RANGE IN GEAR 1 STEP.
SOLUTION :1. CHANGE GAER TO 1 STEP.
2. CONFIRM GEAR IN POSITION, PRESS CNC ENTER KEY.
3. IF GEAR IN POSITION, PRESS ENTER KEY, MESSAGE WILL AUTO
CLEAR; IF NOT, THE MESSAGE WILL DISPLAY TILL CHANGE TO
CORRECT GEAR STEP.
17 (2 STEP-> ENTER)
CAUSE: SPINDLE SPEED RANGE IN GEAR 2 STEPS.
SOLUTION :1. CHANGE GAER TO 2 STEP.

CAUSE: SPINDLE SPEED RANGE IN GEAR 3 STEPS.
SOLUTION :1. CHANGE GAER TO 3 STEP.
2. CONFIRM GEAR IN POSITION, PRESS CNC ENTER KEY.
3. IF GEAR IN POSITION, PRESS ENTER KEY, MESSAGE WILL AUTO
CLEAR; IF NOT, THE MESSAGE WILL DISPLAY TILL CHANGE TO
CORRECT GEAR STEP.
19 (4 STEP-> ENTER)
CAUSE : SPINDLE SPEED RANGE IN GEAR 4 STEPS.
SOLUTION :1. CHANGE GAER TO 4 STEP.
2. CONFIRM GEAR IN POSITION, PRESS CNC ENTER KEY.
3. IF GEAR IN POSITION, PRESS ENTER KEY, MESSAGE WILL AUTO
CLEAR; IF NOT, THE MESSAGE WILL DISPLAY TILL CHANGE TO
CORRECT GEAR STEP.

CAUSE : TURN ON OR RE-START CNC NEED HOME SEARCH FIRST.
SOLUTION :EXECUTES HOME SEARCH.
24 (DOOR OPEN)
CAUSE : FOR SINGLE DOOR MODEL M/C OPTION, WITHIN MANUAL MODE, DOOR
LOCK BE OPENED.AXES FEEDRATE KEEP BELOW 2 M/MIN; SPINDLE
CAN’T BE ROTATED; PROGRAM CAN’T BE EXECUTED.
SOLUTION :CLOSE DOOR.

CAUSE : 1. TAILSTOCK CARRIAGE BE COUPLING, AXES FEEDRATE KEEP BELOW
2 M/MIN; SPINDLE CAN’T BE ROTATED; PROGRAM CAN’T BE
EXECUTED.
SOLUTION : 1. TAKE OFF THE TAILSTOCK COUPLING
41 (CHUCK MUST BE CLAMPED)
CAUSE : OPTIONAL; WITHIN HYDRAULIC CHUCK UNCLAMPED EXECUTES
SPINDLE ROTATED.
SOLUTION :USE FOOT PEDAL SWITCH CLAMP CHUCK.
43 (OPEN MODE)
CAUSE : OPTIONAL; HYDRAULIC CHUCK OPEN MODE SELECTED.
SOLUTION :1. SHOW THIS MESSAGE FOR OPERATOR NOTES.
2. AFTER 5 SECCONDS, MESSAGE WIIL DISAPPEAR.
44 (CLOSE MODE)
CAUSE : OPTIONAL; HYDRAULIC CHUCK CLOSE MODE SELECTED.
SOLUTION :1. SHOW THIS MESSAGE FOR OPERATOR NOTES.
2. AFTER 5 SECCONDS, MESSAGE WIIL DISAPPEAR.
45 (TURRET OVERHEATING)
CAUSE : OPTIONAL; ELECTRIC TURRET OVER TEMPERATURE.
SOLUTION :1. CHECK TURRET, WAIT FOR TEMPERATURE DOWN.
2. PRESS CNC RESET KEY, EXECUTES TOOL CHANGE AGAIN.

CAUSE : OPTIONAL, BARUFFALDI TB SERIES; TURRET OVER LOAD.
SOLUTION :1. CHECK TURRET INPUT POWER AND WAIT FOR TEMPERATURE DOWN.
2. PRESS CNC RESET KEY, EXECUTES TOOL CHANGE AGAIN.

SOLUTION :1. TURN ON M/C OR AFTER RESET TURRET ALARM WILL ZERO SEARCH
AUTOMATICLY AT THE FIRST TIME TOOL CHANGE EXECUTES.
2. JUST SHOW MESSAGE DURING ZERO SEARCHES.
100 (H4 ACTIVE TOOL WRONG)
CAUSE : OPTIONAL, HYDRAULIC 4 WAY TURRET SERIES; TURRET ACTIVE TOOL
WRONG.
