topic which is related to the website, the search engine (Google) will show the website on the
first result page. You search for Bus ticket and Google shows you Red Bus. You search for
Movie ticket and Google shows you Book my show. In short, SEO is informing the search
Engine (Google) when to display their website and to whom.

The goal of search engine marketing is to organize advertising activity through the use of
Search engines. The idea is to use the search engines in such a way so that they display your
website at the top of the search results.

Social Media is a platform for marketing with the best efficiency. In today’s world, maximum
people are spending their most of the time on social media rather than reading newspapers or
watching television. Companies promote their product/business through social media to
spread awareness, generate leads and reach potential customers.
The best part about social media is that it can track a user’s interests. For example, If NIKE
wants to promote its new product to the people from age group 18-35, and people who are
interested in sports, Social Media allows the marketer to target that group of people and show
Ads only to them.
