This material is intended for children in 1st grade in secondary school. We will learn how to
write descriptive text in English properly and correctly. We will also study the types of
expression and vocabulary used when writing descriptive text.

Materials
Descriptive Text is a type of text in English that clearly describes the properties
inherent to something, be it humans, animals, plants or inanimate objects. The
purpose of this text is to provide the reader with clear information about the object
depicted.
ii. Description
This section, located in the second paragraph onwards, contains the properties
attached to something you have introduced to the reader in the first paragraph.
For example:
A: What is your opinion about Rania?
B: Rania is beautiful. She is very smart.
A: What is your opinion about Raka?
B: Raka is handsome. He is very cheerful.
