1 Problem 1.Getting Started with LTspice

A simple RLC circuit is shown in the following .

2 Problem 2. Simulation of Resistive Circuit

The second problem is to deal with the following circuit.

2.1 DC point Simulation in LTSpice

DC point Simulation is a simulation that provides us values of several node voltages and currents
in DC equilibrium.This simulation in LTspice is denoted as .op.In this simulation capacitors are

1
considered as open circuit and inductors are considered as short circuit.

Node Voltages Volt

V0 5
V1 2.5
V2 1.25
V3 0.625

Table 1. Node Voltages in Volt

Branch Currents mA
I(Rs) 0.25
I(R1) 0.125
I(R2) 0.125
I(R3) 0.0625
I(R4) 0.0625
I(Rx) 0.0625

Table 2. Branch Currents in mA

In the two table shown above several node voltages and branch currents have been recorded.Here
the values of the resistances are taken such that
R3 = Rx + R4
R2 = (R3||(Rx + R4))
R1 = R2 + (R3||(Rx + R4))

So the current divides into two equal segments every time is sees a branch.
