Society is becoming increasingly concerned about the destruction of
the natural environment due to the growth in the manufacture of products
for the customers. This essay will suggests some of the noticeable problems and also propose practical solutions as well.
First of all, the increase of goods production damages the nature by
releasing toxic chemicals. The more the goods are in progress, the more toxic wastes and emissions are released from the factories into the environment. For example, India has faced with the dead of three thousands people as a result of air pollution by clothing manufacturers. There also causes water sources contamination, habitat loss of living species and also humans' illness. Secondly, many disposable goods like plastic bags are produced in order to satisfy the customers' needs in the developing world. Through the short life span, the products become wasted since they can not be decomposed and then be left for almost a thousand years, turn the earth into the enormous landfill and threaten the life of many marine and terrestrial animals. However, there are some viable actions that must be taken down as soon as possible to lessen the increase of producing the goods. First, plastic from cups, straws or bottles should be replaced by eco-friendlier materials such as paper and glass, which can be reusable. For instance, Gongcha has changed plastic straws into those made of bagasse, which minimizes the amount of plastic use in life. Second, the companies should plan on business strategies to help the environment by offering discounts for meals on every purchase with reusable bottles, lunchboxes,... It can clearly be seen that the use of recycled stuffs are being effectively reduced. Also, propaganda on social media and real life is also a good thing. To sum up, there are two major in polluting the environment, which are the chemical by-products and massive use of non-recycled products. However, it is possible to conclude that the actions are viable and can be taken down easily everyday by every person so as to make the global go green again.
