WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL), a Government of West Bengal Enterprise, engaged in
the business of Generation of Electricity in the State of West Bengal, invites retired Police Officers in the rank of Dy.
Superintendent of Police or above to appear for Walk-In-Interview for engagement as Senior Executive (Security) on
contractual basis for its Power Stations / Project. The Police Officers of the above mentioned rank to retire within 31st
December 2020 may also appear for Walk-In-Interview.

No of Vacancies: 02 (Two).
 Date & Time of Walk- In - Interview : 07.12.2020 (Monday) from 10.30 am to 02.00 pm
 Venue : Corporate Office, WBPDCL, ‘Bidyut Unnayan Bhaban’ Plot No. 3/C, LA Block,
Sector – III, Bidhannagar, Kolkata – 700 106.
 Remuneration: Remuneration of the superannuated candidate shall be fixed on the principle
of last pay drawn minus pension, otherwise salary would be fixed on
negotiated term.
General Information:
i) Age: Maximum 62 years as on 01.11.2020.
ii) Preference will be given to the candidates, who served to District’s where Power Stations / Projects of WBPDCL are
located.
iii) Selected candidates will be engaged on contractual basis, initially for a period of one (01) year against monthly
consolidated remuneration. The period of engagement may be extended subject to satisfactory performance.
iv) Interested candidates are requested to come with filled in application in prescribed format along with two copies
of recent passport size photographs, copies of certificates / testimonials in support of proof of age, qualification,
experience and last pay certificate, addressed to the General Manager (HR&A), Corporate Office, WBPDCL, ‘Bidyut
Unnayan Bhaban’ Plot No. 3/C, LA Block, Sector – III, Salt Lake City, Kolkata – 700106, at the time of Interview.
v) The WBPDCL reserves the right to withdraw / cancel the advertisement / recruitment process if circumstances so
warrant without assigning any reason thereof.
vi) No TA or other expenses will be admissible to the candidates appearing for the Walk-In-Interview.
vii) In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction shall be that of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta.
