 Ice Breaker Activity
I needed an ice breaker activity to use with my students and I
didn’t want to involve food so I figured using a deck of cards
would turn asking questions into a fun activity. I put the
shuffled deck of card in the middle of the table and had the
students pick a card. I laminated the paper and passed it
around so when it was a students turn they would read the
question and answer it. You can also use this with students
who can’t read as long as you read to them. For older students
I had them write down a fact that they learned about each
student in the group. If you are working with only one student
you can answer the questions as well and have the student
write down several facts they learned about you.
Page 2 - Geared for the beginning of the school year. Asks a
question about summer.
Page 3 – Asks students to share something about their
weekend instead of summer.
