There are things to consider while choosing a web host company, they are quality of service
and price. I will be considering mostly service quality and slightly price.

Recharge shows that there are 2 hosting company that is currently topping the table.
Bluehost and Hostgator. The two companies are the most used web host company, we will be
comparing the two here.

Feature:

In terms of features, bluehost beats hostgator.

Bluehost offers a free domain name, which you still have to pay the registration fee to gain
full ownership so it can be transferrable.

WordPress is very popular for bloggers and developers (and everyone else!). Approximately
30% of the internet is built on WordPress, so it’s worth including as a factor here.

The winner is clear so we’ll get straight to it: Bluehost is the best for WordPress integration.

WordPress themselves have chosen Bluehost as their most highly recommended host
provider. In their own words, “Bluehost offers the ultimate WordPress platform”, which sounds
pretty good to us! This strong relationship will definitely benefit you if you’re looking to use
WordPress, and with their one-click set up process and in-house WordPress support experts it’s
never been easier.

Bluehost has a lot to offer for WordPress users

HostGator also offers WordPress hosting, of course. With three levels of price plans
(hatchling, baby and business), and the offer of transferring your existing WordPress website for free
on sign up, they’re certainly not neglecting their WordPress users by any means.

Both HostGator and Bluehost offer 24/7 support via phone, live chat, a ticketing
system and a help center. HostGator just tops support, purely because its help center is
easier to use and was more intuitive when we tested it. You’ll get great help from either
provider, though.

Performance:

Uptime is great for both, with HostGator just taking the lead with 99.99%, closely
followed by Bluehost’s 99.98%. Considering 100% uptime just isn’t possible, both of these
providers are working very hard to make your site as available to your users as they can.

This is really important for your website, especially if you are trying to run a business. You
can’t reach clients or grow your reputation if your site is always down. It’d be like handing out
blank leaflets to advertise your business: there’s just no point!

Price:

HostGator’s plans start at $2.75/month and are generally cheaper across the board

than Bluehost’s – but with Bluehost’s plans, you get what you pay for. Namely, excellent
features.

One of the most important things we look at as customers when we’re making decisions is
the price. This is pretty sensible when you’re starting your own business or working to a
budget!

Creating your own website should be exciting, not break the bank. Both Bluehost and
HostGator give you great value for money, so whichever one you choose it’s a win-win in
terms of price.

Both Bluehost and HostGator have a money-back guarantee. With Bluehost this is if
you cancel within the first 30 days, and HostGator within the first 45 days of purchase (this is
only for their shared, VPS and reseller hosting packages). This is a great way of trying out
your provider without the fear of committing long-term straight away.

The cheaper offers you find are usually for longer term contracts. For example, HostGator
are currently offering up to 75% off on some of their 36 month contracts. Bluehost also offers
cheaper rates for pre-paying for a 36 month contract, and have promotional discounts for
new customers too. At the moment their choice plus plan for shared hosting is $5.99 a
month rather than the usual $14.99, or you can go Pro for $13.95 instead of the standard
$23.99.

It is worth noting that neither money-back guarantee applies to add-ons or extra purchases
(for example, domains). It is also worth being aware that often when promotional discounts
are offered, this is usually just for your first term and when it renews this will be at the non-
discounted price. This is really normal but something to look out for when renewal time
approaches!

While HostGator can offer you cheaper prices, the extra bucks you’ll spend on Bluehost will
go towards better features, ease of use, and WordPress integration. That’s why we’ve
decided Bluehost offers better value for money than HostGator.

In web hosting, the term "bandwidth" is often used to describe the amount of data
transferred to or from the website within a defined period of time. Another more
specific phrase used for this meaning of bandwidth is monthly data transfer.
Web hosting companies often quote a monthly data transfer for a website, for example 500
gigabyte per month. If the total amount of data downloaded from the website in a particular
month reaches this limit, the hosting company may shut off further public access to the site

Answer to No 7:

Backlinks are incoming links to a webpage.

When a webpage links to any other page, it’s called a backlink. In the past, backlinks
were the major metric for the ranking of a webpage. A page with a lot of backlinks tended to
rank higher on all major search engines, including Google. This is still true to a large extent.

Answer to No 8:

Domain Authority (DA) is a search engine ranking score developed by Moz that predicts how
well a website will rank on search engine result pages (SERPs). A Domain Authority score
ranges from one to 100, with higher scores corresponding to a greater ability to rank.

Domain Authority is calculated by evaluating multiple factors, including linking root domains
and the number of total links, into a single DA score. This score can then be used when
comparing websites or tracking the "ranking strength" of a website over time. Domain
Authority is not a metric used by Google in determining search rankings and has no
effect on the SERPs.

Answer No 9.

A search engine is a web-based tool that enables users to locate information on the
World Wide Web. Popular examples of search engines are Google, Yahoo!, and MSN
Search. Search engines utilize automated software applications (referred to as robots, bots,
or spiders) that travel along the Web, following links from page to page, site to site. The
information gathered by the spiders is used to create a searchable index of the Web.

Example; Google, bing, yahoo, internet archiver, ask.com
