HOW SOUTH KOREA INSPIRES ME?

There are numerous places all over the world that are beautiful
enough to take our breath away and inspire us but an ideal
destination is the one which has beautiful monuments, good
people, which is rich in culture and is technologically advanced.
South Korea has it all. It is a destination worth making a special
journey for. I read a book named ‘Please Look after Mother' by
Kyung-Sook Shin which fascinated me to know more about this
wonderland and I must say that South Korea is worth visiting at
least once in life.

There are various reasons why South Korea inspires me. One of
them is culture. The country is blessed with rich culture while
visiting the country, one would love to try on traditional clothes,
tasting the food, watching performances, or participating in tea
ceremonies. Watching street performance including ladies doing a
folk dance, followed by a modern street dance group, and finally a
taekwondo performance could be a joyful task. Another reason is
country's capital, Seoul, which is the world's second largest
metropolitan area and a major global city. Vibrant Seoul is not just
a buzzing urban hub but also rich in history and culture. With
gorgeous palaces, chic restaurants and stylish boutiques, Seoul is
charming all the way. The National Museum and War Memorial are
the places that could take one through the history of the country,
while the cool shopping district of Gangnam gives us a taste of the
city's ritzy side. Foodies can relish the seafood spread at the
numerous restaurants and enjoy local delicacies at the ubiquitous
street food stalls spread across the whole country. South Korea is a
perfectly balanced country with its new and old elements of the
world. South Korea is a technology hub. It is a global leader in
many technology and innovation. Since 2014, South Korea has
been named the world's most innovative country by the Bloomberg
Innovation Index for 6 consecutive years. Such prosperity in
technology has made the county more influential. Also, there is a
South Korean band named K-pop which is really popular all over
the globe and has captivated me from the past few years. The band
inspires everyone so much by the way they fought in the difficult
times.

South Korea is a nation that has rebuilt itself from the devastation
of war and has achieved an economic miracle in just a few decades,
serving today as a model for many developing countries. South
Korea is indeed the best-loved destination. It is a place full of fun
and excitement and there are plenty of reasons why anyone can get
inspired.
