Job Description: Corporate Strategy Consultant

About Razorpay:
Razorpay is India’s first full-fledged B2B Neobanking platform. A business can use
Razorpay to open a bank account, accept & disburse payments and manage its
finances. Having started in the payment gateway business, Razorpay has also
expanded into lending and financial services with Razorpay Capital & RazorpayX.
Razorpay has also acquired 2 startups - Opfin & ThirdWatch to further its long term
vision.

Established in 2014, the company has over 800,000 online sellers as merchants.
Founded by alumni of IIT Roorkee, Shashank Kumar & Harshil Mathur, Razorpay is
only the second Indian company to be a part of Silicon Valley’s largest tech
accelerator, Y Combinator, which includes companies such as Dropbox, Airbnb,
Reddit among others as its alumni.

Razorpay is constantly growing with over 2000 employees today. Razorpay is now a
$3 Bn company with participation from marquee investors such as Sequoia, Ribbit,
MasterCard, Tiger Global and Matrix Partners.

Job Profile:
● Work closely with founders & CXOs of the firm on deep problem-solving
projects.
● Work with Snr management on the following problems:
- Setting annual & quarterly Targets & OKRs
- Identifying & solving for challenges structurally to help achieve OKRs
- Setup processes to drive efficiencies within & across BUs
● Identify new initiatives and new businesses that Razorpay could expand into:
- Identification of growth opportunities & their prioritisation
- Identifying entry strategies (build, partner, buy) + M&A responsibilities
- Market entry strategy to PMF in the 0 to 1 phase (GTM)
- Creating a scale-up plan to evolve it into a new business unit
● Investor Relations, fundraising and company board function
Required Skills:
● Strong & structured problem-solving skills in an ambiguous and unstructured
environment
● Quick learner and self-starter, adaptable to changing business needs
● Ability to wear multiple hats to zoom in & out of problems
● Strong stakeholder management skills across functions & hierarchies
● Very strong written and verbal communication
● Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach and an ability to build
rapport with senior leaders/CXOs
● Hands-on analytical experience in previous organizations
● An organized approach to work
● Hardworking and committed, with a strong bias to action

Required Experience:
● Previous experience in Tier 1 Consulting(MBB)/CEO’s office/Chief of
Staff/Corporate Strategy roles with reputed organizations
● At least 4-6 years of prior work experience

Good to have but not mandatory:


● Fintech/Payments/Neobanking industry experience would be preferred
● MBA would be preferred
