My floor plan is good for students with different disabilities together with normal students in a regular class. As you can see, there are 5
tables where group of students can sit together. For TABLE A, it is for visually impaired students and also for those who have multiple disability.
I have decided to place the students in front so that those who have low vision can see what is written on the board. Also the table is near the
door so that there will be less hassle when going in and out the classroom. Same with the students using wheel chair, they also placed in table
A near the door. TABLE B, is for students with hearing disabilities. As you can see, the table is round so that the students are facing together
and can easily communicate with each other. Also, it is located near the teacher’s table and where the teacher stands so that they can
communicate well without physical obstruction. Students with multiple disability can also sit in table B depending on its situation. Students
with speech impairment can sit in table C, D and E with abled students are placed at the back and almost near the two tables so that they help
assisting the students with disability during discussions and activities. I also made sure that there is enough space for the students to walk
through to avoid accidents. There is a comfort room inside the room so that they won’t need to go out. An electronic whiteboard is placed in
front. I have decided to use electronic whiteboard for easy adjustments in font sizes for students who have low vision and also for audio-visual
presentations for some students. I also placed a reading and learning area, where physical books and computers are located. We have tactile
books and computers that have magnifier, hearing aid compatibility and narrator.
