Experiment Name: Experiment to determine parallel circuit in DC.
Theory:
In a parallel circuit, the voltage across the resistor is same and current gets divided across the resistor.
Apparatus:

 A digital Power Supply.

 A Breadboard.
 A resistor of resistance 1 kilo ohm.
 A resistor of resistance 2.2 kilo ohms.
 A multi meter

Procedure:
 Step 1: Arrange the circuit as shown in the diagram to check the total current.
  Step 2: Match the theoretical and experimental value of I 1

 Step 3: Check the theoretical and experimental value of I2

Discussion:
We learned about how voltage and current behaves across a resistor in a parallel circuit. We also learned
about current divider law and saw how to construct parallel circuit in a bread board.
Conclusion:
We proved by experimenting that current in a parallel circuit is divided and voltage in a parallel circuit is
the same.
