Experiment Name: Find the resistance with color code and Digital Multi Meter (DMM)

Theory:
On the body of resistor, band of different color is marked which indicates the
resistance of the resistor. The color and values of color codes are:
0 = Black 1 = Brown 2 = Red
3 = Orange 4 = Yellow 5 = Green
6 = Blue 7 = Violet 8 = Grey
9 = White

Procedure:
Apparatus:
1. Digital Multimeter
2. Resistor of 1ohm, 5k ohms and 25Kohms
 Step 01: Search resistor and DMM in thinker cad.
 Step 02: Arrange the apparatus and start simulation to check the resistance
in the resistor.

 Step 03: Match it with the color code and check if it matches.
Discussion:
We learned how to find resistance using color code and how to find the value of
resistance using multimeter. We also learned how to memorize the value of the
color code easily with a catch phase sentence. Where the catch phase sentence is:

Conclusion:
The resistors resistance in the multimeter matches with the resistance value in the
color code from the table. Be aware to observe the color carefully.
