Title of the Play: Is it too late to get Vaccinated?

Main character: Pauleen Shi and her Family
Main Story Line (Summary):

Pauleen Shi was a healthy 16-year-old girl with mild asthma. She
had two loving parents who would do anything for her. She also had
two best friends who were her little sister, Paula who is 10 years-
old, and little brother, Paulo who is 8-years-old. She loved playing
Call of Duty, biking, listening to songs, engages herself in sports
and she also wanted to become a doctor someday.

When COVID-19 struck, everyone isolated themselves in their own

houses to avoid this virus and that includes Pauleen’s family. All
they did was to wait for the vaccine and her parents had been extra
careful going outside, either to buy their food or work. Whilst the
vaccines were already being ready in their country, they had doubts
on what this vaccine could do that’s why they were hesitant at the
idea of being vaccinated. Hence, they thought that sanitizing,
following protocols and being extra careful is enough to avoid the
virus.
However, due to the numerous trips of Mr. and Mrs. Shi for work
and the frequent bad weather, they got caught in the rain that
resulted them to also caught fever. Ms. Shi was not as worse as Mr.
Shi’s condition because his whole body was really burning up that
fears Pauleen’s family more. Luckily after a few days, Pauleen’s
parents got better but unfortunately Pauleen caught their virus.

Until one day, Pauleen had a fever of 102 degrees and was
immediately taken to the local urgent care. She tested positive for
COVID-19. It was the worst day of her family’s life seeing how much
she can’t taste any food they prepared, her constant headaches and
her labored breathing. Pauleen became weaker every day, missing
her online classes and her two best friends missing her. At that
point, it was decided that they did some chest x-rays. Although her
x-rays were clear, the doctors indicated Pauleen may be in the
beginning stages of pneumonia and as such, started her on some
antibiotics.

Pauleen was still experiencing high fever and labored breathing.

She tried to be strong, she tried to fight this virus off her body but it
was not enough to the point that she felt like giving up. Her parents
saw how much she had already suffered and blamed themselves for
not getting vaccinated earlier. Perhaps, the three of them getting
vaccinated earlier would have change everything.
