Ultraflo® Max
– Get the best beer filtration

Ultraflo Max has improved the benchmark for mash

separation and beer filtration.

Traditionally, the levels of beta-glucans have defined the

quality of filtration, but Ultraflo Max lowers arabinoxylan
values in addition to decreasing beta-glucans, bringing
viscosity of mash, wort, and beer to lower levels.

This results in optimal and consistent mash separation as well

as much longer beer filtration cycles with any quality of malt,
even when a high percentage of barley is used in the recipe.

Benefits of Ultraflo Max

•• Gives optimal use of brewhouse capacity by ensuring
consistent, fast mash separation using any malt quality
or malt/barley blends

•• Increases cellar capacity by reducing viscosity, resulting

in up to 50% longer beer filtration cycles

•• Reduces cost by lowering filter aids (kieselguhr)

consumption as a result of longer beer filtration cycles

•• Ensures longer life and less frequent cleaning of filters,

plus less downtime due to improved cross-flow mem-
brane filtration

•• Gives the opportunity to increase brewing gravity due

to lower wort viscosity
