ANSWER
YES, it is possible to say that an automobile at rest can be accelerating fast. Because, if a
moving body comes at rest then its acceleration becomes negative then its velocity becomes
zero therefore, acceleration becomes zero. Yes, a body can have acceleration while at rest it
will be negative acceleration or retardation.
