LEASE AGREEMENT

THIS LEASE AGREEMENT is at Chennai on this ----------------------------- 2021, between


--------------------------, residing at ----------------------------------------------------- hereinafter
referred to as LESSOR of the FIRST PART...
AND
---------------------------------, whose permanent address is ------------------------------------
hereinafter referred to as LESSEE of the SECOND PART….

The terms LESSOR and LESSEE wherever they occur herein, if the context allows, shall mean
and include their respective heirs, Executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors
and assigns
WHEREAS the first part is the absolute owner of the -----------------------------------------------,
Second floor (1BHK) the house and more fully described in the schedule hereunder,
WHEREAS the lessee requested the owner to let out the schedule mentioned house for
residential purpose, LESSOR also agreed to let out the schedule mentioned property as described
in the schedule.
NOW THIS LEASE AGREEMENT WITNESSETH AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Lease amount for the house is ---------------------------------.
2. The lease amount shall not carry any interest and the said amount shall be refundable to
the lessee at the time of vacating and delivering vacant possession of the premises.
3. The lessee shall pay the electricity charges as per meter unit every month shall pay to the
EB directly.
4. The house shall be taken on lease by the lessee for residential purpose only.
5. If the lessee commits any damage to the premises leased to him and damage are to be
ascertained at the time of handing over possession the expenses for the repairs shall be
deducted from and out of the said lease amount and the balance amount shall be paid to
the lessee.
6. The lessee shall not repair or alter house out to him without the written consent of the
owner.
7. The lessee shall keep the house leased out to him in good LESSEE able condition.
8. The lessee shall always allow the owner or his authorized agents to inspect the house
under her occupation.
9. The lessee shall not let-out the whole or any portion of the house described in the
schedule hereunder leased to him without the written consent of the owner.
10. This lease agreement shall come in to force on and from --------------------------------the
agreement is for a period of 12 months.
11. If either of the party decides quit the agreement 1 month prior notice should be given &
the lessee shall give the let out leased house in same good condition while vacating.
