Covid OUT, classes IN!

Upon the approval of the opening of limited face to face classes next week,
DepEd is now ready to spread the virus of learning thus closing the door for Covid.
DepEd Undersecretary Diosdado San Antonio said this will be implemented to areas
with low Covid-19 Cases.
The positive move the DepEd is taking is a way of encouraging and motivating
parents and learners not to be afraid to continue education amidst pandemic. DepEd is
assuring they will come up with rules for safe opening of classes. San Antonio
mentioned some protocols to be observed including temperature scanning prior to entry
to the school. Classes shall just have a maximum of 20 pupils.
Opening of classes indeed provide the poor families who are not able to keep up
with modular distance and online distance learning. Equality is being observed too.
We need not to be afraid! Deb Sofield said, “if we don’t risk anything, we risk
everything”. Education is something not to be sacrificed. Let not Covid 19 stop us from
our sure win to success. The right time has now come to battle with Covid and survive.
After all, opening of classes is the key. If not, when will the reopening of face to face
education starts?
Let us spread the virus of learning. For in the mere end, education is a test of life
skills and our best armor to survive aginst Covid19 pandemic. Let education combat
ignorance. Let Health Education be the solution to fight COvid-19. Anyway, the battle of
life and death during this pandemic has just begun!
It is better to fight and survive than to live in fear without a fight. Let Covid OUT,
let Classes IN.
