Release Agent Aquacoat SF-176

Aquacoat SF-176 is designed as a mould release agent for epoxy, polyester,
vinyl ester, phenolic and other thermosetting resins. Aquacoat SF-176 is an
advanced polymeric resin in water. It provides a durable film capable of giving
many releases per application and will not contaminate the released surface.
The separating film is very robustly and temperature stably after the to more
then 280°C

Aquacoat SF-176 is supplied ready to use.

For new, porous or damaged moulds, DexSeal should be used prior to applying
the Aquacoat SF-176.

Application:

If a wax or silicone based release agent has been used previously, remove all
traces of previous product using a cleaner such as DexClean.
Aquacoat SF-176 can be applied over existing semi- permanent release agents
without a further cleaning step. However, the mould should be clean and dry
before used.

1.Apply Aquacoat SF-176 to clean, dry cotton cloth.

2.Gently wipe over mould surface covering an area of approximately 0,5 -1 m².

3.Wait approximately 2 minutes,and then lightly wipe over the mould surface
using a separate cloth.

4.Wait 15 minutes and apply the second coat of Aquacoat SF-176

5.Wait approximately 2 minutes,and then lightly wipe over the mould surface
using a separate cloth.

6.Repeat until mould is completely coated.

7.Allow a set time of 30 minutes before using the mould. If application has
been made to a warm surface, a shorter waiting period is needed.

8.For touch up apply a single coat of Aquacoat SF-176 as above and continue
processing.
