PROCEDURE BBS Bench Testing NOTE: This test canbe performed with or without olin too! 4, Position andsecure assembled Ball Booster Tool on PBL Assembly Bench with pin facing chain wench 2. Insert PAL pll od with 675 SSBB Pull Plate on rod though tool. Connecting loop protruding ot of pin Connect rodte chain wench Pull until sleeve stops. Mark Rod (A) 5. Release chain wench, Sleeve should se smoothly and stop. Mark Rod (8) ‘2. Sleeve should move about 1". This stool OPEN position 6. Pull again ut sleeve stops. Should be at positon A 7. Release chain wench. Sleeve should again side smoothly and stop. Mark Rod (C) ‘2. Sleeve should move about 5". This s too! CLOSED position 3. Repeat as desired 9. Leave tool inclosed postion and move to hydro test area Aa ie os [SS os ‘BBBS Hydro Testing NOTE: This test must be performed with olin too! ‘Secure CLOSED too! in hydro test area, instal pressure test nubbins to box and pin Fil tool with water and cose lower valve Pressure Test and Record S000 PI for 5 mins; allowable pressure drop i 5%. ‘8. Check for possible ol leaks around ol fil ports Release pressure and open lower valve Remove top nubbin and place 2” activation ballon set. Tap into position Reinstall nubbin, Pressure upto shear ball. Record shear pressure ‘a, A small amount of water may leak through ports while bullding pressure. Ths |ssleve sliding across seals b. Once ball shears, fd will be coming out of ports. Tool is OPEN. 8 Remove topmnubbin and install another 2" activation ball onto seat 9. Pressure up 0 shear ball. Record shear pressure ‘2. Onceball hears, there will be no fluid coming aut of ports. Tool is CLOSED 10, Ref tool wih water.
