Answer the questions below.


1.In your opinion, what fundamental measures does Vietnam need to increase human resource and
capitalize on collaborative working opportunities among ASEAN countries? (5 points)

Currently, in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, with the strong development of science and
technology, the issue of training and developing human resources is more and more posed as an urgent need,
contributing to helping businesses create a competitive advantage in the market. Meanwhile, the quality of
human resources in Vietnam is still limited, the percentage of trained workers is still low, there is a shortage
of skilled workers, and it has not met the needs of the market, labor and integration.
With a view to improving the quality of human resources, meeting the increasing requirements of the
labor market and international economic integration, I think that Vietnam needs to focus on the following
key solutions: Firstly, I suggest renewing education requirements as well as improving the quality of human
resources through promoting skills training and practical capacity. Besides, we also should continue to
promote socialization and diversify resources for vocational education development. Secondly, our
government should focus on developing a system of high-quality schools, smart schools, and improve the
quality of education at all levels; especially developing encouragement, counseling, career guidance, and
student stream products in high schools. Thirdly, strengthening and promoting propaganda and consultation
to create a profound change in awareness of the importance of vocational education in the whole society so
that we can meet the requirements of innovation goals and sustainable development strategies.
I think in order to have oppoturnities to cooperate and work among countries in Southeast Asia, we need
to develop human resources firmly and improve our country's knowledge economy. That's why we should
focus on improving the quality of our home country first, thereby creating a foundation for long-term
mutually beneficial cooperation with other countries in the region.
2. How are AUN and HCMUTE educational philosophy related to each other? (5 points)
Talking about the concept of philosophy of education means talking about philosophy and education.
The definition of philosophy of education refers to philosophical reflections and inquiries on all aspects of
education, which is "putting on top of all that we know and believe in education". Some argue that
"Educational philosophy, which is considered as a guideline in all educational activities, is built on four
main pillars: object, goal, content and educational method"; therefore, educational philosophy plays an
important role on training and teaching students.
About HCMUTE, the philosophy of education of our school are cloning, creation and integration.
HCMUTE does believe that the most meaningful learning occurs when every individual is provided with
opportunities for a comprehensive development of cognitive competence, social and behavioral competence
and technical competence. HCMUTE also believes in the core values of lifelong learning: each learner needs
to self- construct and enrich knowledge and skills by discovering, inquiring and learning by doing to
improve creativeness potential to fulfill his/her own aspirations and to serve the community. HCMUTE does
not only provide students with an excellent educational background, but also encourages students’ creativity
and assists them in realizing their ideas through practice.
About AUN and others, I believe that they have the same philosophy of education like HCMUTE or
maybe they are a bit different; however, they all have the same goals that are integration. Integration will
have all of this schools develop their quality of training and educating, as well as open the opportunities to
cooperate with other schools in the same country or even with other countries all around the world.

Accessing many different educational philosophies will help the organization learn many new and
useful things, improve and develop its school into an ideal place and more and more perfect.
