Glossary of terms:
Initiating 1 Knowing the exam This we talked in our Day-3 email. It involves knowing the PMP exam eligibility and structure/pattern very throughly

2 Commit to closeout Keep a month in target to appear for the exam. DON'T focus on a particular date until W9/10 when you actually
book a slot! Life often throws in a lot of surprises :-)

Planning 1 Create a study plan Don't fret yourself over templates and automated plan builders. Waste of time. Devlop a simple excel sheet (hand
written would be better) and revisit/iterate it based on your progress. Keep it simple!

2 Finalize prep resources Finalize of 3-4 key resources and avoid the 'analysis paralysis'. We will talk this in our Day-5 email

3 Get a mentor/buddy A mentor/buddy is one of the most important prep resources. If you don't get one treat these posts as your virtual
mentor and maximize the learnings. Reach out to me 1:1 on my email if you require further inputs. I would be
more than happy to help!

Execution 1 Study the theory and make Pickup any one of the two books mentioned in my emails + PMBOK and start taking summary notes against each
summary notes of the knowledge areas and process groups. This will ensure that you do not need to come back to the text book
again and again. This is the most time taking phase and it took me almost 1.5 months to complete Rita Mulcahy
(9th Ed.) cover to cover. But this is the cornerstone of your preparation, so devote max. time here

2 Solve focused Qs based on Solve the Q's at the end of each chapter in your text book and analyze your responses against the answers give. It
each domain is from here that your 'error logs' start to develop
3 Take mock tests and finalize This is the fag end of your execution phase where you start taking mock tests (refer Day-5 email) and book a test
examination date date with PMI. Hope you have downloaded my step-by-step guide for the same by now :-)

Monitoring & 1 Create 'error logs' (Analyze It is of UTMOST IMPORTANCE to create 'error logs' while analyzing mocks. We will talk it more as our email
Controlling mock tests) series progresses

2 Update error logs daily An error log which is not updated regularly is 'dead'. So make sure you update you error logs daily or at least once
every 2/3 days.

3 Update summary notes Also update your summary notes if you get to know any new concept while giving the mocks and creating error
weekly logs

Closeout 1 Sit for the exam The D-day. Remember some of my tips and advice which I will share on Day-9 of my email series

2 Celebrate! Work hard, PARTY harder!
