 Chairman of the Bureau of International Recycling (Plastic Division) since
2006. BIR is a worldwide association of recycling with membership of 1000 market
participants from over 80 countries.
 Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 (National Rank Holder and in Merit List).
 Married, with a son (Postgraduate from the London School of Economics) and a
daughter (studying music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA), wife (studied
Painting at Royal Academy of Fine Arts - Antwerp).
 Conferred with the award of the Jain Community ‘Yuvak Ratna’ by Acharya Shri
Mahapragyaji in 2002.
