a. Resource persons:
Members of our Society: I am not very much in favour of having all the members
you have mentioned for certain programmes like the motivational talks, Sunday
reflections etc. The only reason for this is, not all of us are good at public
speaking which is a very important skill required for a camera presentation. I have
nothing against their intellectual calibre we might have our phd’s in a subject but
we have to accept that not all of us are good at expressing ourselves on the
camera and drawing the attention of the people that includes me too. According to
me, till now the persons who can really communicate and draw attention of the
people are fr. Allan Tavares, Fr. Seby and Fr. Lawrence. Ofcourse the content
(for example views corresponding to church’s teaching) also is very
important. The review of which is must since it’s our official channel.
We have to get really professional lay people who have knowledge and can
communicate well on camera.
b. Methods to approve Programmes for the channel.
1. Auditions: This is must to select the best programme for the
channel. There will be lot of people who would want their
creations to be uploaded on our channel ofcourse we will have to
provide some remuneration after its selected.
2. Competitions: another way to get the best . again needs to be
rewarded
3. Content Review Panel : this is must so that we have the chance to
edit and analyse the content for flaws like statements against
church teachings, or other controversial things by experts
