Subject:- RESTORATION OF DAMAGED ROAD DUE TO GLOF EVENT AT

BADSWAT

Reference emergency declaration by this office vide letter No.DDMA(GZR)-

1(7)/2020 dated 17-07-2021, following parts of road in the affected area needs immediate
restoration:

1. Restoration of damaged road portion at Gishgish Parri

2. Restoration of damaged road from Bilhanz to Badswat Nullah
3. Reconstruction of the wooden bridge at Badswat Nullah

It is requested that immediate steps shall be taken so that access to and from the areas is
restored timely.

Subject:- RESTORATION OF DAMAGED ROAD DUE TO FLESH FLOOD

As your office is well awared the current flesh flood observed at Badswat Nallah due
to burst of Badsawat Glacier and resultantly damage occurred to the roads as mentioned below:-

1. Restoration of damaged poles/wires etc at affected area of Qurumber valley.

Accordingly as per requirement of the situation the undersigned declared emergency under section
24 of GBDMA ACT 2017 vide this office declaration No. DDMA(GZR)-1(7)/2020 dated 17th
July 2021.

Therefore, the matter being a extreme and extra ordinary situation requires immediate action on
war footing bases as a large population of the area are disconnected from the rest of area and badly
affected.

The matter requires it’s due attention and due importance.
