The Copperhead snake is the species that I chose for this assignment. The Copperhead
snake likes to live in habitats where the terrain is rocky, wooded areas. The copperhead likes to
live in the central area of the united states of America. They are most often found on dry rocky
hillsides.
One of the ways that it has adapted to its environment is adapting to the Suburban areas.
The snake can make a home in empty places. The snake can make homes in Wood and sawdust
piles. The snake prefers to take shelter under the surface. This is how the Snake has adapted to its
surrounding.
I think that the snake made these changes because the environment constantly changes
every day. Genetics could also be a factor in how the copperhead snake lives in its habitat. I
couldn’t find anything on if it has mutations. The copperhead snake has a unique way that it
lives.
