DIAGRAM OF CARDIAC MUSCLE

Function of cardiac muscles

a) Cardiac muscle tissues work to keep heart pumping through involuntary movement. This
is one feature that differentiates it from skeletal muscles tissues. It does these through
specialized cells called pacemaker cells. This control the movement of heart.

MECHANISM OF MUSCLE RELAXATION

When acetylcholine is broken down cause the stimulus to the muscles fiber ceases and allowing
the second event of relaxation to take place. This involve the calcium ions being actively
transported back into the sarcoplasmic reticular. Decreasing the calcium ions concentration of
sarcoplasm, the linkage between actin filaments and myosin filaments break and consequently
the muscle fiber relaxes.

The relaxation and contraction process it being work in the antagonistic form of the body
muscles.

ADAPTATION OF MUSCLE TO ITS RULE;

Muscular system have being with different adaptation which is correlated to their functions and
they perform in an appropriate order of the muscles process. Those adaptations of muscle are
included the following;

Presences of vascularized blood vessel, the muscle relaxation and contraction it

depend with the influx of mechanical energy associated with the flow of blood with respect to
nutrient contents and oxygen game. Also body carry by product of respiration take place in
muscles such as carbon dioxide.

Distributions of numerous mitochondria, Muscles require energy in performing their

function thus mitochondria exist as the current energy resource for initiation the movement
process such as contraction and relaxation of antagonistic muscle. Within the mitochondria is
