8 conceptual frame work

Teachers morale contribute much to the performance of the student, the morale of the teacher is
improved by good work environment condition; economic factor and social factor can affect the
morale of the teacher to his or her work, for the case of the economic factor; provision of good
salaries and wages, work allowance and improvement of teachers settlement can uphold teachers
morale and when those things are not provided the teachers morale become low. Also social factors
like interaction between teachers and other members around the school environment, presences of
social services like water supply and electricity also uphold teacher’s morale. And the performance
of the student depends much to the effort of the teacher in leading to the student to reach the
expected goals. In general student performance is highly depending to teacher’s morale.

1.9 operation definition of key terms

In this study the researcher will be will always be referring to the following terms;

Morale; is the collective set of altitudes, emotions, and satisfaction exhibit by employee.

Teacher’s morale; is overall view point of the individual in a working place including emotion,
altitude, outlook and satisfaction level. It is the result of working conditions and altitude.

Student performance; is the extent to which a student has attained their shorts or long term
educational goals in reparation to clear standards for different grade levels.

Secondary school; is the school intermediately between elementary school and college and usually
offering general technical, vocation or collage preparatory courses .

A school; is an institution for provision of education, institution in a given particular discipline.
