Some people think that cultural traditions may be destroyed when they

are used as money-making attractions aimed at tourists. Others believe it

is the only way to save these traditions. Discuss on both sides and give
your opinion.
It is undeniable that cultural traditions are the main tool of tourism to attract
visitors from all over the world. While some people think this is the best
solution for saving these traditions, I, as well as others, have doubts about the
preservation process of the government toward them.
Tourism is helping to bring cultural traditions of of a country closer to the
world. Attracting more attention and spreading the priceless values of these
traditional cultures to tourists could keep them from being forgotten.
Furthermore, profits gained from tourism industry can support the
conservation process of these customs.
However, if local government only know how to thoroughly explore the
values of their cultural traditions, they will eventually loose the original
features. There are still many way to support cultural customs financially
without destroying indirectly. Local authorities could open exhibitions which
are easily accessible for tourists. In addition, they can also hold competitions
with various prizes to help people understand more about their cultural
values. Without using the cultural traditions as money - making attractions,
governments are still able to boost their country’s economy and encourage
their citizen to find ways to extend local cultures.
To conclude, although turning cultural traditions into money - making
attractions can save them in some respects, pivotal measures should also be
taken to ensure that their values can remain unchanged throughout centuries.
