Assignment 2: Analyze the impact of following events on the stock markets
• A relief package with fiscal stimulus as cash transfers to eligible people is announced by the Government of India.

• A new treatment is discovered for fighting with Coronavirus by the Russians, which is likely to reduce the recovery
time to a week.

• A private firm in India obtains successful results for the Covid-19 vaccine, and is able to finalize agreements with
top pharmaceutical companies across India and the world

• RBI announces a series of liquidity infusions by purchasing open market securities for the month of June.

• Alcohol home delivery is allowed all across the country with most delivery services obtaining licenses for the same.

• The Monetary Policy Committee reduces Repo rate by 0.5% and maintains a stable outlook for the benchmark
rates for another three months.
