INSTITUTIONAL PHILOSOPHY
VISION
The College of Saint Lawrence will position itself as one of the leading institutions in providing the highest standard of quality and affordable education to our students, to
recognize and enjoy financial and economic benefits and to develop responsible citizens of our society.
MISSION
- To strictly implement the Manual of Operation and Course Syllabus as prescribed by the Department of Education (DepEd), Technical Education and Skills Development
Authority (TESDA) and Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
-To establish targets and objectives for all members of the Faculty and Students and provide mechanisms to check its strict implementation.
-To update and revise the said Manuals periodically to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.
-To involve and consult with parents in making relevant decisions in the affairs and education of our students.
-To provide students with a balanced educational experience through formal education and actual apprenticeship in various establishments so that all acquired theories, ideas,
concepts and skills shall be blended well with practical work application and proper attitude.
-To focus the development program of Science and Technology in the field of Business, Education, Electronics, Computer and Information Technology.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course deals with Rizals philosophy, ideals of freedom and nationalism for which our hero lived and died. It likewise deals with the influences of Rizal towards 1896
revolution and the different perceptions that people have upon the national hero. The course aims at promoting critical view of the social order in which he lived, through an
analysis of his works and letters, his opinions on liberalism, government, religion, education, as well as his philosophy of living and the relevance of these
ideas to the Contemporary Philippine Society.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES
The following are the graduates attributes expected from a LAWRENIAN:
1. Have the basic and higher-level literacy, communication, numeracy, critical thinking, learning skills needed for higher learning;
2. Can demonstrate and practice the professional and ethical requirements of their professions;
3. Equip with knowledge and skills necessary for successful entrepreneurial activities.
4. Possess personal discipline, effective and satisfying personal and family life and responsible citizenship.
5. Sensitive to the technological changes and effect of global competitiveness.
The Graduates of BSHM, BSBA, BSCS and/or bachelor degree in other related fields shall possess the following competencies:

C. Professional Specific Competencies
A. Performs work activities effectively and efficiently to the standards expected in the operation required in the tourism Industry/hospitality sectors
B. Undertakes task, functions, duties and activities in the operation of the hotels, restaurants, travel, government and non-government agencies in accordance with the
competency standards.
C. Analyzes situation, identifies problems, formulates solutions and implements corrective and/or mitigating measures and action.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
At the end of the semester, given a conducive and innovative atmosphere for learning, the students will be able to:
Cognitive:
1.Recognize the relevance of Rizals ideals, thoughts, teachings, and life values to present conditions in the society.
2.Explain the importance of Rizal in the formation of ideology in the 1896 revolution and the Philippine nationalism.
Affective:
3.Foster the development of moral character, personal discipline, citizenship and vocational efficiency among the Filipino youth.
4.Imbibe the values of nationalism, honesty, hard work, and dynamism.
5.Pay tribute to the national hero for devoting his life and works in shaping the Filipino character.
Psychomotor:
6.Describe and compare the Philosophical ideas of Rizal to other Philosophers in his time.
7. Internalize early Filipinos initiative in establishing a sense of nationhood.
8.Perform and adapt relevant issues of Rizal on actual projects and exercises.

isa lamang at Sa paniniwalang ito ang magbibigay ng marangya at masaganang buhay para sa ating pamilya at sa hinaharap. Bagamat isang masakit na katotohanan., isa ito
sa mga kasagutan para maibsan ang gutom o medyo hindi magandang kalidad ng pamumuhay. mayroon tayo sa ating bansang Pilipinas. Hindi nagiging hadlang ang iwan
ang ating mga mahal sa buhay sa pag-asang dala ng pag-iibayong dagat makamtan natin ang mga mithiin at ninanaais sa buhay. sapagkat kung gusto mo umasenso sa
buhay mag sasakripisyo ka at Mag titiyaga kang mag trabaho kahit na mawalay ka sa pamilya mo at sa iyong bayang sinilangan.
