As of now, the earth is overpopulated.

Currently the population of the Earth

is 7.8 billion. The population has increased greatly over the last few years. This is
a problem because eventually we will exceed the carrying capacity limit of the
earth. There needs to be a plan to slow population growth to prevent this.
Population control is very important because without it, the population will grow
rapidly and basic human needs will be harder to obtain. That is why I have
created a plan to decrease population growth, and keep it decreased.

Everyday the population grows. The population has increased greatly over
the years. In 1800 the population was 1 billion, and has since grown to 7.8 billion.
The population will continue to increase. Based on statistics from World
Population Prospects It is expected that earth will have a population of 8.6 billion
at mid 2030s, 9.8 billion at mid 2050, and 11.2 billion by 2100. We need to
control the population growth because we cannot have a sustainable planet
without a stable population. According to an article on

demands for resources like water, land, trees, and energy also grow.
Unfortunately, the price of all this “growth” is paid for by other endangered plants
and animals and an increasingly volatile and dangerous climate.” If we exceed
the carrying capacity limit it will not only make it harder to get necessary
resources, but it will affect the whole earth and many other organisms. This is
why it is so necessary to control population growth and decrease it.

I have developed a plan to decrease population growth. My plan is to

decrease the amount of babies born. To accomplish this, a “hunger games''
would start. The population of the earth is 7.8 billion. Roughly 3 billion of those
people are men. (About 3.8 billion). According to a study "Sex in Australia:
Sexual identity, sexual attraction and sexual experience among a representative

https://api.semanticscholar.org/.) about 2 billion (2.8 billion) of the men are
straight. My plan is to host a hunger games and kill off 75% of these men, and
send the remaining 700 million to Antarctica. That way, the rest of society is
women and lgbtq men. The population will continue to grow, but grow much
slower because only the only way of reproduction is through bi-sexual men, and
sperm donors. The men will fight against each other in the “hunger games” until
75% of them are dead. Multiple of these “hunger games” will take place all over
the world until all straight men between 18-65 have competed. Approximately
700 million men will remain and they will live in a society built in Antarctica.

in support of science; prohibits nuclear explosions and the disposal of nuclear
waste; promotes scientific research and the exchange of data; and holds all
territorial claims in abeyance.” This quote is explaining the purpose of the
Antarctic Treaty. To respect and follow the Antarctic Treaty as much as possible,
the surviving men will learn to do scientific research in Antarctica. This plan will
not only decrease population growth but will decrease crime rates. According to

Most crime is committed by men so crime rates will also decrease and the world
will be a safer place. The plan may not be widely accepted by many people but it
has many benefits such as, decreasing population growth, scientific research in
Antarctica, and much more.

In conclusion, decreasing population growth is a very important matter that

needs a plan put into place to prevent the earth from exceeding the carrying
capacity limit. My plan will not only decrease the population but it will also make
the world safer. The plan called “For the Girls and the Gays: Decreasing
Population Growth” is the best course of action to prevent overpopulation.
