You Haven’t Moved To Responsive UX Yet?
• Roughly 85 percent of HCM Cloud customers have switched or are actively
in the process of switching – are you falling behind the competition?
• Mobile responsive – the power to work anywhere
• More intuitive, easier to use
• New features and functionality only work with RUX
Ø HCM Experience Design Studio
Ø Upcoming AutoComplete: rules-based validation against business objects
Ø Oracle Recruiting Cloud
• Key adoption milestone on the horizon: Classic UI decommissioned in 20B
Ø No fixes for Classic UI beginning with 20B

Let’s Be Clear About What’s Happening
• Oracle is NOT delivering 20A nor 20B with Responsive UX enabled by default for existing customers
Ø Plan changed last November; talked about it here and changed (in November) the biweekly email
notification customers have been receiving
• Newly provisioned customers will have RUX enabled by default
• Classic Simplified UI will be decommissioned as of 20B
Ø “Decommission”: no longer fixing issues, providing enhancements or delivering new features in
Classic UI
Ø Classic UI NOT deprecated in 20B
o It will be deprecated at some point in the future
• Exceptions to Classic UI decommission
Ø Time entry grid for OTL supported until some future release TBD: written request with
justification for Oracle approval required. Email to floyd.teter@oracle.com.
Ø Pages in Person Management work area until decommissioning of Person Management in 20C
o As of 20B, only two Person Management pages – Absence Management and Work Schedule
Assignment – remain.
o Both will be introduced into RUX in 20C
• Cohort A - 4 weeks
• Cohort B - 9 weeks
• Cohort C - 13 weeks
