Mary was a great teacher, not only in her ministry but also to her daughters.
She was an early pioneer of implementing family worship with her true or false
quizzes and dramas with her young daughters. She was an artist, a poet, and a
great lover of music and dancing. Everyone looked forward to seeing her at
Christian gatherings, because they all knew she would be on the dance
floor...first one on the floor, last one to leave the floor.

The Technical School of Garment Construction and Design was where Mary
obtained her accreditation in tailoring and design. Many friends solicited Mary
for her skills. She lovingly designed and sewed her daughter's wedding dresses,
meticulously adding the appliques and bead work by hand.

Loving memories will be cherished by her daughters, Francine Ellis-Kerkula,
