Probability Sampling

Furthermore, the researcher applied the probability sampling in the study.

Probability sampling is defined as a sampling technique in which the researcher

chooses samples from a larger population using a method based on the theory

of probability. the subjective judgment of the researcher rather than random selection.

Sampling Technique

Thus, the Sampling Technique used by the researcher was Systematic Sampling.

Systematic sampling is a statistical method that researchers use to zero down on the

desired population they want to research. Researchers calculate the sampling interval by

dividing the entire population size by the desired sample size. Systematic sampling is an

extended implementation of probability sampling in which each member of the group is

selected at regular periods to form a sample. It is also defined as a probability sampling

method where the researcher chooses elements from a target population by selecting a

random starting point and selects sample members after a fixed sampling interval.

Furthermore, to calculate the interval, the research follows this formula:

i=N/n

Where:

( i ) = is the interval

N = is the size of population

n = is the sample size
