FINDINGS, MANAGERIAL IMPLICATIONS AND
RECOMMENDATIONS

Major Research Findings


1. The study confirmed that the employees of Southwest Travel and Tours, Boracay are participative at
work despite of COVID-19 pandemic.
2. It was clear that the employee attitude of Southwest Travel and Tours, Boracay are positive despite of
COVID-19 pandemic.
3. Most of the respondents’ have sustained their level of productivity despite of COVID-19 pandemic.
4. The results reveal that COVID-19 pandemic has a negative and positive impact to employee
involvement of Southwest Travel and Tours, Boracay.
5. Lastly, the study showed that COVID-19 pandemic had affected the employee involvement of Southwest
Travel and Tours, Boracay.
MANAGERIAL IMPLICATIONS OF FINDINGS

1. The managers should provide your employees with ongoing tangible support to
work remotely and balance new demands in both works and family roles.
2. The managers should provide consistent and clear communication to your
employees, offering resources and guidance.
3. The managers should maintain contact among your employees to maintain esprit
de corps.
4. The managers should demonstrate your organization’s commitment to fellow
businesses and the community.

Recommendation 1: Since, COVID-19 Pandemic has positive and negative effect to the
employee involvement of Southwest Travel and Tours, Boracay, the manager should provide with
ongoing support and assurance to the employee to boast their confidence and trust to continually
engage at work with consistent or balance level of productivity.

Recommendation 2: Implementation of flexible working hours and alternative working schedule


must clearly define by the managers to keep employee retention and avoid employee turn-over.

Recommendation 3: A similar study must be conducted to a larger group of subjects to


determine if the same finding will be established.
