OBJECTIVE:

To discuss the issues on employee learning and coping with organisational change.

REQUIREMENT:
Many organisations have had to make changes as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic
in order to deal with operational and economic issues. Based on your own
experience, use a narrative essay to describe how you as an employee learn and
manage changes during the pandemic. Evaluate the narrative essay to understand
individual learning and the process of change.

OBJECTIVES:

1. To discuss the concepts and theories of emergent organisational development


and change and apply in organisational setup.
2. To evaluate the issues related to organisational development and change.

REQUIREMENT:
Organisational change has become more extensive and complex in recent years.
Organisational practitioners and academics have intensively introduced various
concepts and strategies related to organisational change. As the results, some
organisations are unsure how to select the right organisational change strategy.

In order to comprehend the various approaches taken by academics and


practitioners in the field of organisational change, as well as how organisations
should select the optimal organisational change strategy, prepare the following:

a. Review and explore from academic literature on the organisational change


tactics or strategies.
b. Collect news on the real organisational change tactics or strategies from
reliable sources such as The Wall Street Journal, The Edge, Reuters, The
Economic Times, etc.
c. Analyse the similarities and differences of the organisational change tactics or
strategies between academics and practitioners.
