Participation, preparation, engagement with online learning and effort in and out
of class 

You demonstrate a mature and responsible attitude towards your learning.


4  This means you respond positively and actively to your instructor’s advice,

quite well when you are asked to speak or respond. You are usually punctual (or
have a reasonable explanation when you are late) – logged in to the Zoom
meeting, ready to participate in class, by the stated start time. You put effort into
tasks you are assigned, including out-of-class work.

You show interest in learning but you do not seem really committed. You
2 contribute to class/group discussions when you are called upon to speak or

y learning (not in a suitable place and/or without equipment required). You are
sometimes late – not logged in to the Zoom meeting, ready to participate in
class, by the stated start time (without a reasonable explanation). You do not
always put quite enough effort into tasks you are assigned, including out-of-class
work, and you may rely on help from others.

You are a negative influence. You are inattentive / sleepy / bored / disruptive in
0  class. You make no effort to engage with online learning. You make no
Poor contribution. You make no effort and are never fully prepared. You are often late.
