Travel Stories
We asked three people to tell us about their last vacation and what made it special. Here is what they had to say:
Savannah, 23
The last place I went to was Venice. It was so beautiful with a lot of canals and little streets. It was very confusing,
though. We got lost every day! I went with my boyfriend. It was very romantic—we went on the best date ever at a
tiny restaurant right on the canal.
Tania, 25
I traveled on my own for my last vacation. I made all the decisions about what I wanted to do—it was wonderful! I
explored Paris alone. I made some new friends on one day and had fun with them, but I prefer traveling on my
own.
Oliver, 19
My last vacation was good and bad. I went with my best friend, but on the second day, we had a big argument! I spent
the next day on my own. On the third day, we started to talk again. After that, we had the best time ever. It was a
strange vacation, but we enjoyed it in the end.
WRITING
12 When you have a job, how are you going to manage your money? Write at least 100 words.
When I work, I will save most of my money in the bank, I will create a credit history to obtain benefits when
making purchases, I will have my own savings at home that will be divided into the important expenses
either in rent, in the expense of electricity, in the consumption of water, as well as different medical
expenses that may be required, but also when I work I will try to pamper myself with a not so high expense
from time to time, either in going out with my partner or family, or simply spending it in something that I like.
