INTRO

As Salam o alaikum everyone, my name is Muhammad Faraz and my presentation topic

is on about depression and its effects. There are variety of foams and types of depression
but I’m explaining some of its types.

WHAT IS DEPRESSION?
Everyone faces sadness and unhappiness at some point in their lives. However,
Depression is more intense and of longer duration than typical sadness or grief, which
interferes with a person's ability to engage in daily activities. Depression is truly one of
the most prominent mental illnesses in the world. Depression is defined as a mental
illness inducing a severe and staunch feeling of sadness. Depression heavily influences
emotions and one’s outlook on life and more than often ends up changing a person’s life
in a major way. People experiencing depression often feel sad every day and cry very
often, making that too another daily routine. Even when participating in activities that
used to bring joy, people begin to lose interest and begin secluding themselves from
people and things they love.

MAJOR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER:

Major Depression also influences one’s energy levels, regardless of the amount of sleep.
Some depressed people may become nervous and easily agitated, pacing rapidly or
constantly fidgeting. Many experience extreme laziness, losing motivation and will to
carry on. An incredibly common feeling is depression is the feeling of a burden too great.
This may be standards of other people, social anxiety, or traumatic experiences.
Depressed people may also have difficulty thinking, poor concentration, and problems
with memory. The feelings of worthlessness, helplessness, guilt, and self-blame are
those among the most commonly recorded. This leads to the major influence of
depression on the world, suicidal thoughts and actions. At least fifteen percent of
seriously depressed people commit suicide, successfully. In return, ninety percent of
people who kill themselves have depression or a mental illness in relation to depression.
PERSISTENT DEPRESSIVE DISORDER:
Persistent depressive disorder, also called dysthymia
People with dysthymia may feel like they are worthless or a failure at
everything. They may dwell on negative events and experiences and be unable
to see positive qualities in themselves. Some people experience headaches,
nausea, body aches, and other pains with depression. These feelings last for
years and may significantly interfere with your relationships, school, work and
daily activities.

PSYCHOTIC DEPRESSION:
Psychotic depression is a subtype of major depression that occurs when a
severe depressive illness includes some form of psychosis. The psychosis could
be hallucinations (such as hearing a voice telling you that you are no good or
worthless), delusions (such as, intense feelings of worthlessness, failure, or
having committed a sin) or some other break with reality. Psychotic depression
affects roughly one out of every four people admitted to the hospital for
depression.
